In the event your package or shipment is lost, damaged, or does not get delivered in a timely manner Shipthrifty will help you submit an insurance claim with the carrier you booked your shipment with. Our claims are offered through licensed insurance producers affiliated with UPS Capital Insurance Agency, Inc., and other affiliated agencies.
Notify Shipthrifty in writing of the loss or damage by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject: Insurance Claim. Notification must be submitted within 7 days of the actual delivery date along with the following details and proof of loss information:
Once we receive timely and properly submitted information from you we may share it with any affected third-party business partners(s) involved in the handling your package or shipment. We or our third-party business partner(s) may conduct a reasonable investigation into said claims or complaints, but in no event are we required to investigate your claim. Your request for assistance for claims does not entitle you to compensation or damages from us or our partners.
We are not liable for any damage or loss because of poor packing, failure to acquire insurance, or failure to obtain signatures upon delivery. We and our logistics partners are not liable for any damage or loss of protruding parts such as wheels, handles, straps, pockets, or luggage marring, chipping, scratching, and denting.
